Today I’m going to show you a simple recipe for shorshe ilish. It’s Bengali traditional recipe, This recipe prepare with in 30 minutes.
Let’s start with the Ingredients
Ingredients:-
- Ilish fish 5 pic
- Onion 1 pic
- Green chili 6 pic
- Mustard seed 2 spoon
- Salt 1 spoon
- Turmeric powder half spoon
- Red chili powder half spoon
- Mustard oil 4 tea spoon
👉 Put mustard seed,onion,green chili 2 pic and salt in the blender jar. blend it into smooth paste.
Fish frying process:-
👉 First wash the fish very well. Marinate the fish with salt and turmeric, and rest 10 minute.
👉 Turn on the flame and heat a pan on high flame,add sufficient oil and let it heat.
👉 once the oil is heated properly, reduce the flame to medium.
👉 Pre-marinated fish gently drop into the hot oil.
👉 Fry it on medium flame till it turns golden brown,keep flipping in between.
👉 Take it out on the bowl.
👉 Useing same pan and add mustard seed,onion and green chili smooth paste. and mix well.
👉 also add salt,turmeric powder,Red chili powder and 1 cup of water mix well.
👉 And bring into boiling point,add pre-fried fish and whole green chilies.
👉 let it cook covered 10-15 minutes.
👉 Check the salt and Turn off the flame
👉 Serve shorshe ilish with hot rice.
